Carissa and Leandro Castro met during their time at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Leandro was working toward his PhD in mechanical engineering and Carissa was completing her bachelor of science in chemical engineering. Leandro went on to co-found MultiMechanics where Carissa worked as the Director of Operations. At MultiMechanics, they learned all about the difficult aspects of building a company from the ground up. During this experience they came to the realization that spreadsheets are not made for modern financial planning. After selling MultiMechanics in 2019, they got to work solving that very problem.

Logica is a software that allows the user to transform their spreadsheets into a visual, collaborative financial model. With this technology, planning, budgeting, and forecasting can all be done within minutes. Logica allows the user to save time on financial planning and turn their attention towards improving their business.
