A serial entrepreneur in every way, Nathan has experience in creating more than half a dozen companies and advising hundreds over the past years.

  Nathan is best known for co‐founding MindMixer, a civic engagement startup that quickly scaled from 0 customers to nearly 1,000 in just two years. MindMixer now employs more than 75 employees across the Midwest.  

 Nathan has a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from the Peter Kiewit Institute of Information Science and Technology, a graduate degree from UNO in urban planning, and is a former Silicon Valley and Silicon Beach product manager.

Erica is a go‐to investor for new companies as they pursue growth in Nebraska. Her entrepreneurial insights are published monthly in the Omaha World-Herald and have been quoted in publications like Forbes, Inc. Magazine, and NPR.  

 Erica has worked with hundreds of founders, helping them find product-market fit and execute growth strategies.

 She has a Journalism degree from Kansas State University, a Wharton Executive MBA certificate in venture capital, and University of California Berkeley venture capital certificate. 

Erica Wassinger

Mary Blaney drives financial strategy and growth at Burlington Capital, where she oversees accounting, treasury, and financial reporting. Her leadership was instrumental in a private equity deal that secured growth capital for a local company, and she was a key player in the successful transition of a portfolio company into a publicly traded entity.

In addition to managing tax planning for Burlington’s funds and investors, Mary has guided several high-impact acquisitions and divestitures. As CFO of Burlington Capital’s real estate investment funds, she further demonstrates her deep expertise in managing complex investments and driving long-term success.

Prior to joining Burlington, Mary built her career at RSM US LLP, where she specialized in assurance and consulting for financial services. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mary Blaney

Lisa Y. Roskens is the Chief Executive Officer of Burlington Capital. Under her leadership, Burlington Capital has acquired, financed, and/or managed assets totaling over $7 billion and developed a Real Estate portfolio that has included over 65,000 units in 40 states.

She has extensive experience developing entrepreneurial businesses, executing projects with the government at all levels, and has presided over the sale of Burlington Capital’s two publicly traded subsidiaries, American First Multifamily Investors (ATAX) and America First Apartment Investors (APRO).

Lisa Roskens

With over 25 years of experience in property management, Mr. McKeon is a seasoned professional in the industry. His expertise spans across various property types, including rehab, lease-up, stabilized, market rate, military, and student properties. As the President of Burlington Capital Properties, he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the ongoing success of the properties within the company’s managed portfolio.

Mr. McKeon’s primary focus is on driving the strategic direction of the company and overseeing its day-to-day operations. His time is dedicated to developing and supervising his team, establishing and implementing company policies and procedures, and cultivating a workable organizational structure that promotes efficiency and growth. He is also responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s technology platform, ensuring it aligns with the evolving needs of the business and enhances operational effectiveness.

Joining Burlington Capital in 2001, Mr. McKeon has steadily progressed through the organization, previously serving as a Property Manager and Regional Vice President. This diverse experience has equipped him with comprehensive knowledge of the industry and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities associated with property management.

Kevin McKeon

Gabrielle Keaton brings a dynamic combination of financial insight and strategic thinking to her role at Burlington Capital. She helps identify new business opportunities, supports the growth and operations of venture investments, and manages international agriculture projects. Gabrielle’s sharp analytical skills have contributed to the commercialization and scaling of investments, driving them to successful exits.

A graduate of Creighton University with dual degrees in Finance and Business Intelligence & Analytics, Gabrielle contributed as part of the management team for the Creighton University Student Portfolio (CUSP) Fund. Her passion for growth and strategic impact extends to her involvement with Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) – Omaha and leadership roles in organizations like the Omaha Chamber’s YP Summit Planning Committee and the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women fundraiser.
