Growing up on a farm in Alabama, Jackson Stansell has always had a thorough understanding of just what it takes to grow a successful crop. After graduating from the University of Harvard, he then pursued his masters of agricultural engineering at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. It was during his masters work that he developed the technology behind Sentinel Fertigation. Jackson’s software uses aerial imagery to time fertigation applications. Knowing when to fertigate saves the farmers time and money while also limiting the environmental damage caused by the over use of these chemicals.
